A friend from Ukraine

We had a special guest today, as the Global Citizen School volunteers are with us this week. 

We found out a lot of interesting things about Ukraine:)

Together with Be Creative club we were sewing felt phonecases, needlefelting and doing other creative things:)

Even the clock in 46 has a new, autumn look:)

Global Citizen School

Do you remember the volunteers from Global Citizen School at our Gimnzajum last week? We had a really wonderful time:)

          Hi there! Today we have met a new, really nice pearson - a volounteer from Romania. She told us about a lot of interesting things about her country. For ex. in 2012, they set the Guiness record with the flying lights! And we also heard about that in the Romania, you don`t sit in church - you must stand on your legs or sit on your feet. That`s really strange, don`t you think? Oh, and there are lots of wild horses:) I`ve learnt two words in her language: NECARBOGAŻIFICATA - which means in Polish ,,woda niegazowana" and OAIE - which means in English ,,ship". It was such a nice visit, thank you, ALEXANDRA

European Day of Languages at Gimnazjum nr 4 in Tychy:)

              

            Italy, Spain, England, Germany, France and Russia... You could see a piece of  these countries last Tuesday in our school . 

                     Each class introduced items connected with the chosen country.

                   Everyone was happy, what you can see in the photo below.

                    The show was both for secondary and primary schools.

Open - air lesson

We love sitting in the late summer sun talking to one another in English. It`s more like friendly meeting than an English lesson. We talk about our school and ideas about it:) Of course, English is not a problem to use it. After all, we are English - freak, aren`t we?

European Day of Languages - charades

Hello! We were celebrating the European Day of Languages at our school today!

First, we prepared the TALK TO ME badges in ENGLISH, SPANISH, ITALIAN, FRENCH AND GERMAN.

 

here we are with the badges:)

Then, we learned the sounds of a cow, a cat and a dog in many different languages.

 

       And last, but not least, we were playing charades in Englsih, German, Spanish and Italian!!!

There was a lot of fun for both students and teachers!

St. Patric's Day

We had really wonderful time last Monday :]
Almost everybody wore green clothes, so they weren't asked questions by teachers ^^

2b was selling green muffins and collected 130 zł - we are going to buy some nice English games for the students :)
We will surely repeat it next year :)
